The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it can be alarmed in regards to the substantial variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into status sassa a high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The services point produced for intervention experiences a superior influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more means to help the servicing of all customers and improve use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
